The Visodate watch, designed and produced by Tissot, made its original appearance in 1953. Born on the occasion of the company’s 100th birthday, the model was powered by a self-winding movement, which offered a date display. At that time, the integration of this element into the movement structure was a giant leap, which announced a new chapter in the history of the brand.

Now, Tissot is extremely pleased to introduce an up-to-date interpretation of the legendary timepiece. Advanced from the technological standpoint, the novel Visodate 1957 watch pays tribute to the heritage of the past, revealing the Tissot date and logo from 1953. The new timepiece will be unveiled at Baselworld 2010.

The functionality of this appealing timekeeper includes hours, minutes, seconds, as well as day and date. Giving life to these functions is the self-winding ETA 2836-2 movement, which provides a 42-hour power reserve.

The entire mechanism is incorporated into a 40 mm case, manufactured from 316L stainless steel with or without PVD treatment. The brand has fitted the watch with a transparent case-back. The water-resistance of the Tissot watch is down to 30 meters.

The dial of the Tissot Visodate 1957 Automatic fake watch, performed in silver or black, is shielded by a scratch-resistant convex sapphire crystal. It is equipped with the day and date exhibition windows, positioned at 3 o’clock.
