A true masterpiece of watchmaking art, the Star Magie d’Etoiles watch involves the use of the following noble materials: 18 karat white gold, genuine mother-of-pearl and dazzling diamonds with the overall weight of 2.215 karats.
To set diamonds on a thin mother-of-pearl dial is a great challenge for jewelry craftsmen. If not treated carefully, the dial can be broken into pieces or cracked. Therefore, only utterly concentrated masters can successfully cope with this complex task. Every step should be seriously taken and each diamond should be perfectly cut.
The designer concept of this jewelry timepiece is encouraged by the brand’s emblem: the hexangular star is exposed on a white mother-of-pearl dial not less than six times. The lucky watch wearer can enjoy the 34 diamond-studded star at 6 o’clock. The arc, presented on the left part of the dial, consists of 22 pearls, finished with rhodium. The watch bezel is encrusted with 80 scintillating brilliant-cut diamonds. Another 42 gorgeous jewels sparkle on the outer circle. The lined lugs of the watch are embellished with additional 20 diamonds and attached to a white satin strap, enhanced with a clasp in 18 K white gold.
The 18 karat white gold case of the novel Montblanc watch houses a Swiss-made quartz caliber - MB 4810/103 movement. The case is endowed with a white gold crown. It features a 0.055 carat diamond, cut in full conformity with the stellar shape of the brand’s emblem. Every watch to be issued will be individually numbered on its case-back.
